⁠Overview

This image provides the fusionauth-app service, which services API requests and provides the admin user interface. FusionAuth is a stateless web service and can be horizontally scaled using container orchestration such as Kubernetes.

⁠Requirements

• PostgreSQL relational database
• Elasticsearch (Optional)

FusionAuth will start w/out a connection to Elasticsearch. Elasticsearch may be configured for advanced search functionality. Please reference the example configurations in our Docker installation guide⁠ or the fusionauth-containers project on GitHub⁠ as a starting point.

⁠Database Limitations

NOTE: Due to the Oracle license terms of the MySQL connector, this container will not be able to connect to a MySQL database. If you wish to use MySQL, you'll need to build a custom container that includes the MySQL Connector JAR file.
